Data Analyst I
The successful candidate will work to prepare and analyze genomics data generated within the lab and beyond. Most work will focus on bulk and single-cell gene expression data from normal and cancerous human samples, but this may grow over time to include other organisms and molecular species. Familiarity with the R programming environment is required, and knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python), workflow development languages (e.g., Snakemake, WDL, and Nextflow), and collaborative coding practices (e.g., GitHub) is a plus. Responsibilities will primarily involve application of existing code, with some development of new code as needed.
