A Post Doctoral Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Keith Ligon in the fields of brain tumor biology and precision medicine. Prior experience in laboratory research is required. The position will involve the multidisciplinary study of cancer cell biology and mechanisms of treatment resistance in adult and pediatric gliomas.  The position will involve use and training in a cutting edge techniques such as functional genomics (CRISPR screening), patient-derived human models of cancer, AI/ML methods in digital pathology and spatial biology analysis, human clinical trials. tissue biomarker analysis, genomics studies, stem cell culture, and development of high throughput screening methods for functional precision medicine.
