Research Technologist
The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Research Technologist with the Andrew Lab. The Andrew lab studies tissue specification, morphogenesis and specialization using the Drosophila embryonic salivary gland and other organs as models. Our research relies heavily on molecular biology, microscopy, and genome wide approaches to studying DNA binding and gene expression. We are specifically interested in the molecular and cellular events that mediate formation of organs that have the right size, architecture, and position in the embryo to maximize function. We also focus on the physiological specialization of different embryonic cell types. This position is to identify and characterizing signaling pathways involved in the morphogenesis of the e
