Job description:Write a brief description of your lab, department, and/or research focus. The University of Minnesota is seeking a postdoctoral trainee to carry out mentored and independent research related to our ongoing chronic pain. Our lab is focused on understanding the peripheral and central drivers of chronic pain, with emphasis on back pain, intervertebral disc degeneration, the prefrontal cortex and epigenetics. The successful candidate will benefit from the UMNâ™s strengths in pain research, neuroscience and musculoskeletal biology; all of these groups offer regular seminars, journal clubs and social/networking events. Responsibilities:⢠Planning, execution, analysis, documentation and communication of novel research related to chronic pain (80%)
