Position Description The Kussell Lab at NYU’s Center for Genomics and Systems Biology seeks a highly motivated and independent individual to work as a Postdoctoral Associate performing computational and theoretical research in bacterial population genetics and evolutionary dynamics.   The postdoctoral associate will be hired to work on a project focused on understanding the impact of recombination on bacterial population dynamics and genome evolution. A major component of the work will be computational, involving a substantial amount of programming and data analysis, including development of new methods and algorithms. The postdoctoral associate could also develop analytical theory to address a range of related questions.
