The Henry Ford Health Division of Medical Genetics has an active and well-integrated clinical genetics service which currently includes reproductive genetics, cancer and cardiovascular genetics, but we anticipate growth in other types of genetic counseling. Our team consists of two board-certified medical geneticists, seven board-certified genetic counselors, and excellent support staff. We are recruiting another geneticist. The genetic counselors also work with maternal fetal medicine physicians and gynecologic oncologists. Genetic counselors are involved with several tumor boards including a molecular tumor board.
