Masonic Institute on Biology of Aging and Metabolism - Dr. Ming XuSeveral positions available in the Ming Xu laboratory in the Masonic Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism. Xu's research program focuses on discovering fundamental mechanisms of aging. This laboratory employs novel animal models, primary human cells, and human tissues to investigate the roles and underlying mechanisms of cellular senescence in a variety of age-related conditions including frailty, compromised resilience, Alzheimerâ™s diseases, insulin resistance, bone loss, joint pain, infection, and others. The Xu lab has sufficient long-term fundings (3R01s, multiple R21s and U54) as well as excellent lab environment. Th
