The Department of Mathematics and Statistical Science at the University of Idaho is seeking to hire a new tenure-track faculty member at the assistant professor level. We seek a statistician to establish strong research programs that build on existing or complementary strengths within the department and College of Science. We are looking for a faculty member with broad expertise in statistics with interests in theoretical or applied research. They will have opportunities to mentor students in the BS and MS programs in statistics, and doctoral students in the mathematics or bioinformatics and computational biology programs.
