The Alliance for Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Treatment Innovation (ADVANCE) is seeking a Research Assistant to contribute to a number of machine learning projects with clinical data. The Research Assistant will work on feature extraction from clinical datasets and develop predictors for different clinical outcomes.
Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. This position is funded by a grant, and will only remain for as long as funding continues to be available.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator and other senior members of ADVANCE, the individual will curate training data, develop machine learning algorithms, and test them on clinical data.
The individual will use a number of data modalities such as clinical covariates, ECGs, images, etc.
The position requires extensive and detailed data entry and data checking.
The individual may also assist with special and related research projects and other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mouse colonies.
Experience with next-generation sequencing library preparation.
Basic knowledge of coding.
Experience in mammalian cell culture technique.
