The Chemical Screening Center (CSC) is a shared research facility providing instrumentation and chemical collections that aid in the discovery of therapeutic agents and biomedical research tools.
Under the direction of Professor Scott Lokey, the junior specialist will be enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of Cell Painting and other high-throughput, high-content screens analysis, creating complex data visualizations and maintaining experimental datasets.
Duties will also include actively engaging in our ongoing research projects, collaborating with postdoctoral researchers and other team members, presenting your research findings at group meetings, and contributing to the preparation of scientific papers.
Applicants with bioinformatics experience in high-throughput data analysis, imaged based screening analysis, high performance computing, and working with a collaborative research team are strongly encouraged to apply.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
B.S. (or equivalent foreign degree) in biomolecular engineering and bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
