Genomics Services Data Scientist
Job Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to join the Genomics Services Unit of the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center, part of a leading biomedical research program run by Dr. David O'Connor. The successful applicant will help develop, design, organize, and conduct research projects under the supervision of Dr. O'Connor and senior scientists in the lab. They will actively participate in a team studying genomic variability and immune system genetics of nonhuman primates, with an emphasis on genotyping major histocompatibility complex (MHC), killer immunoglobulin-like receptor (KIR), and Fc gamma receptor (FCGR) loci, as well as using genomic tools to understand the evolution of pathogens in nonhuman primates
