The Genome Engineering Core is a new facility with the mission of providing CRISPR-based functional genomics and spatial profiling services to collaborators at Columbia University and beyond. Our functional genomics expertise includes pooled genome-wide and custom-library screens with amplicon-seq and single-cell RNA sequencing readouts. We employ diverse CRISPR technologies, including CRISPR, CRISPRi, and CRISPR base editing. Our spatial profiling service includes a 10X Genomics Xenium next-gen in situ machine. Our goal is to use these cutting-edge technologies in collaborations involving precision medicine, cancer genomics, immunology, and other fields.
