Position Summary The RTSF Mass Spectrometry and Metabolomics Core (MSMC) at Michigan State University wishes to hire a Bioinformatician to help establish new data tools and streamline existing data processing pipelines. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mass spectrometry-based metabolomics data as well as reference libraries used for compound identification. This role will be a joint position in the laboratory of Professor Maryam Goudarzi, where new computational tools will be developed, and the MSMC where tools will be deployed for data analysis by MSMC staff and users. MSMC offers targeted and untargeted LC/GC-MS services and serves a large number of internal and external collaborators. Therefore, the candidate should have good communication skills
