The role of the genetic counselor is to work closely with the medical providers in the evaluation of patients and families at high risk for hereditary cancer. The position participates in both research and teaching objectives and is required to track data and report outcomes accordingly. The position participates and may also lead grant-writing and performance improvement initiatives. A genetic counselor III candidate will have experience co-managing a clinical sub service of the Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program and/or at least 5 years of experience in cancer genetics and the demonstrated ability to function independently.This position is located at both the Mount Zion campu
