The Department of Anthropology at New York University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as an assistant professor in Biological Anthropology. The appointment will begin September 1, 2025, subject to administrative and budgetary approval.We seek a scholar who works on nonhuman primate systems and with components of the "omics," broadly defined. The ideal candidate will combine laboratory work in areas such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, with long-term field research on primates. Potential areas of research interest include, but are not limited to: the genomic architecture of phenotypic variation and adaptation to the environment; the genomics of
