The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Fellowship program in St. Petersburg, Florida is accepting applications for the training start date of July 2025. 

Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Fellowship is a developing pediatric subspecialty that is in constant evolution as innovative therapies and stem cell processing techniques are being investigated. There continues to be a considerable need for physicians who have an interest in this scope of clinical practice as the field continues to expand. The current landscape of the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Fellowship program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital has placed it in a strong position to provide a unique and innovative training experience to develop the next generation of leaders in within this subspecialty, which is directly aligned with the tripartite mission of our organization. This fellowship program will allow for opportunities to collaborate with colleagues at Moffitt Cancer Center whom JHACH has a joint-FACT accreditation. Additionally, the fellow will have access to protocols and investigational trials that are open at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. These unique collaborations will promote exceptional training in patient care, research, and career development.
The Program Director is a double board-certified pediatrician and pediatric hematologist/oncologist and is the Director of the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy for Non Malignant Conditions. At JHACH, we lead the state in the number of transplants performed annually in pediatrics. Additionally, we were the first pediatric center to offer chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy. Our high volumes coupled with expansive clinical therapeutic options for our patients, provides an excellent opportunity for teaching and research. 

Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy fellowship applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Hematology/
Oncology or Pediatric Immunology fellowship. The candidate must be BC in General Pediatrics and BE/BC in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Pediatric Immunology, and eligible to obtain a FL license. 

The 1-year subspecialty fellowship is primarily a clinical fellowship where the fellow is required to participate daily in direct patient care. Additional expectations include participation with teaching, lectures, didactics, and the completion of one research or quality improvement project.
