Postdoctoral Research Associate - Vaishnava Lab
A 2-year postdoctoral position with the possibility of extension is available in the Vaishnava Lab, located in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Brown University. The postdoctoral research associate will work on a project aimed to investigate regulation Vitamin A metabolism by gut bacteria and its role in coordinating local immune functions and intestinal epithelium remodeling. The preferred candidate has a doctorate degree (and be within 5 years of this degree at the time of taking up the position), and has a background in epithelial cell biology, mucosal immunology or host-microbiome interactions with a strong publication record.
