The Cornille laboratory in the Division of Science at NewYork University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a postdoctoral associate starting September 1, 2024. The successful applicant will conduct comparative genomics analyses on insects and plants. The main foci of these analyses will be:The identification of genes and genomic features that have evolved adaptivelyThe evolution of transposable elements in a population genomics context.The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop an autonomous line of research related to the interests of the lab in evolutionary genomics.
