The Concepcion laboratory at Columbia University Irving Medical Center seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join a growing research team focused on epigenetic deregulation in lung cancer. Our laboratory is interested in understanding how alterations in chromatin state shape tumor cell fate throughout tumor evolution. Areas of investigation include: 1) understanding how mutations in chromatin regulators alter the chromatin landscape to facilitate malignant transformation; 2) investigating gene regulatory programs co-opted by cancer cells throughout tumor progression, and 3) identifying dependencies and targetable features of lung cancers harboring specific mutations in chromatin regulators.
