Position Summary The position is funded by a USDA grant to study how transportation affects honey bee physiology, behavior and gene expressions.  The incumbent will conduct research independently on how transportation (real or mocked) and sleep deprivation could affect honey bee's resistance to Nosema ceranae, detoxification enzymes and their sensitivity to insecticides.
