Seeking a motivated organized individual to serve as research support staff to investigate the neuronal circuits that regulate feeding behaviors using genetically engineered mice and the pathogenesis for wooden breast syndrome in chickens.The laboratory employs a comprehensive array of techniques, including molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, bioinformatics, and behavioral analysis, to investigate how the brain coordinates food intake and energy homeostasis, as well as the molecular mechanisms underlying muscle myopathy disease in chickens.
