Nemours is seeking a Genetic Counseling Assistant-Neurology and Developmental Medicine in Wilmington, DE. This is a split position between the departments of Neurology and Developmental Medicine. The Genetic Counselor Assistant (GCA) provides support to Genetic Counselors for coordination of genetic counseling and testing services with functions that involve coordination of genetic testing, insurance verification management, and provider-patient interaction. The GCA will be involved mainly with administrative tasks including, scheduling, coordinating, verifying and discussing insurance coverage for patients receiving genetic testing.
