Because of the various duties, this person must be able to prioritize tasks. The applicant should be comfortable working and assisting other lab members as well as working on their own. Good record keeping extremely important. Strong background in microbiology is important. Experience with molecular genetic and microbiological methodologies strongly valued, particularly in regards to yeast biology.
