Job Description:The goal of the Vasudevan laboratory is to investigate the specialized gene expression program that promotes the persistence of clinically resistant cancer cells and develop RNA-based therapeutics to curtail disease persistence. Ongoing projects in the lab investigate the mechanisms of regulation of critical genes by RNA binding proteins, circular RNAs, nucleotide modifications, and ribosomes in resistant cancer cells and develop mRNA vaccines and other therapeutics, using human cell lines, stem cells, patient samples, and in vivo models.The Research Assistant will assist the PI in experiments involving general molecular biology procedures, cell culture, biochemistry, and laboratory mai
