POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThe Project Coordinator for Dr. William R. Jacobs, Jr., Ph.D., will play a crucial role in managing his dynamic schedule and extensive research activities. Dr. Jacobs is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Einstein, a distinguished academic scientist and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. His laboratory at Einstein is at the forefront of developing innovative strategies for the control and eradication of major infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (TB) and leprosy. His team of postdoctoral researchers, graduate students and technicians uses a broad range of approaches involving molecular genetics, biochemical, cellular and immunological methods.
