Job SummaryThe Hopkins Lab within the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University seeks a Research Assistant I to assist with molecular biology and evolutionary genetics research. Our lab investigates the fundamental evolutionary forces driving adaptation and speciation. We utilize a variety of population genetic, molecular evolution, and genomic techniques to study selection, gene flow, and adaptive mutations in plants. We also do extensive experimental work with plants grown in the greenhouse and field settings. Much of our work focuses on characterizing the mechanisms of selection and the genetic basis of trait variation involved in speciation and adaptation.Position DescriptionThis position will involve assisting senior res
