Job Description A NIH funded postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Medicine of University of Medicine and Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center to study the roles of extracellular vehicles in diet–induced obesity, insulin resistance, and hypertension. The successful candidate will establish a high fat diet induced obesity model, and maintain mouse colonies and records. Techniques, including cell culture, gene expression, RNA/DNA analysis, ex vivo vascular and in vivo mouse experiments will be applied. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biology.
