Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryOur research broadly deals with understanding the neuropathology of Alzheimer Disease (AD). AD is characterized by the deposition of protein aggregates that interfere with neuronal synapsis, causing inflammation and eventual cell death. Research along with bioinformatics is identifying novel potential players in the pathology of AD. These omics-driven studies are complimented by performing functional analysis to confirm the actual role of these in-silico discoveries and determine their exact role in the pathogenesis of AD. For this purpose, the Cruchaga lab is seeking a reliable person with tissue culture and biochemistry experience to assist scientists
