The Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Brown University is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to join the Surveillance of Infectious Disease lab, led by Dr Katherine Siddle. The lab works to develop and apply genomic tools to understand viral evolution, transmission, and host-pathogen interaction for a wide range of infections from SARS-CoV-2 to Lassa virus. We are specifically seeking a postdoctoral associate to work on computational projects at the intersection of genomics and the emergence, evolution, and outcome of disease.It is anticipated that the candidate will develop and lead independent projects related to one or more of the areas of interest in the lab.
