Job Duties: The Department of Biology at East Carolina University (http://www.ecu.edu) seeks to fill a fixed-term faculty position (9-month appointment) at the Teaching Assistant Professor level.The successful candidate will be expected to contribute substantially to the instruction of Principles of Biology 1, a freshman course in biology that is required of all biology majors. This particular course introduces molecular biology, bioenergetics, cell structure and physiology, the molecular basis of inheritance, and gene expression.
