The Muzumdar Lab (Department of Genetics) is seeking a postgraduate associate interested in cancer biology, molecular biology, metabolism, and genetics to work on an innovative interdisciplinary project that aims to understand how dietary fat and gut microbial communities - associated with obesity - contribute to pancreatic cancer development.Our lab focuses on understanding the genetic, environmental, and host factors that govern the earliest stages of pancreatic cancer evolution with the goal to develop precision-based prevention therapies for this recalcitrant disease.
