Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryThe Solnica-Krezel laboratory investigates the molecular genetic mechanisms of inductive and morphogenetic processes that establish the vertebrate body plan using zebrafish and human embryonic stem cells. We are using both forward and reverse genetic approaches to dissect the genetic basis of spinal deformities, and to functionally evaluate genes and variants of unknown significance leading the efforts of the Washington University Zebrafish Model Organism Screening Center for the NIH supported Undiagnosed Diseases Network.
