Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist V in Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Genetics within the New Jersey Medical School.Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Laboratory Manager, Research Teaching Specialist I, performs research activities. Performs work requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.Among the key duties of this position are the following:As directed, performs various research and technical operations relative to the ongoing investigatory activities of the laboratory.Participates in the evaluation of existing procedures suggesting revisions where necessary, and proposing new procedures where required.
