Bioinformatics Programmer 4
The Bioinformatics Programmer 4 will be in charge of bioinformatics and computational biology in the Center for Advanced Technology (CAT), the primary genomics sequencing center at UCSF. Responsibilities include developing pipelines and analyzing data for internal projects as well as projects for CAT users. These projects can encompass bulk and single cell sequencing, whole genome sequencing, epigenetic experiments, and pathogen genomic surveillance. This position requires staying up to date on current computational and wet-lab techniques which will be facilitated by interactions with the CAT wet-lab team.
