The ideal candidate should have research experience with cell isolation from brain tissue will be necessary to study the effects of iron deficiency anemia on neuroinflammation and epigenetic modifications in neurons. The candidate must be able to understand and address well-defined hypotheses with appropriately designed experimental plans. Desirable skills include RNA/DNA isolation, PCR amplification, Western blot, Elisa assay, PCR genotyping, Real-time PCR, and Immunohistology.
