Postdoctoral Scholar, Division of Allergy & Infectious Diseases (Molecular target-based drug discovery)
Position Description The Ojo Laboratory at Center for Emerging and Reemerging Infectious Diseases (CERID), University of Washington, Department of Medicine, Allergy & Infectious Diseases is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar with interests in the area of molecular target-based drug discovery in neglected infectious diseases. Research work in the Ojo lab is a multidisciplinary endeavor in target-based drug discovery for neglected infectious diseases requiring knowledge in chemistry, genetics/molecular biology, biochemistry, and pharmacokinetics/drug metabolism. The successful candidate will take advantage of our high-throughput screening & protein production pipelines to develop well-characterized inhibitors that can be further developed as cost-effective & potent t
