We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Genetic Counselor to work within the Cancer Genetics Clinic.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesReviews medical records to determine possible genetic testing options. Captures accurate and detailed documentation of clinical encounters to document clinical care in accordance with Medicare and State requirements for service. Assists in the development/implementation of patient/family care plan.Coordinates clinical genetic testing that may be available for patients including informed consent, lab requisition forms, and letters of medical necessity.Communicates and documents test results to physicians and patients.
