Position Description The Department of Genome Sciences and the Brotman Baty Institute for Precision Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine seeks 1 full-time Research Assistant Professor (non-tenure eligible) to establish a long-term collaboration with Dr. Jay Shendure. This position will direct a research program around the design/synthesis of large-scale DNA molecules of arbitrary sequence and their subsequent delivery to cells. DNA synthesis at this scale is a nascent technology that portends to have broad implications in genomics research, analogous to the impact of DNA sequencing.
