Job Description The Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is hiring an Administrative Assistant to serve equally the Genome Science Institute and the Master's Program in Genetic Counseling in the Graduate School of Medicine starting immediately. We are seeking an entry-level candidate with office coordination and standard office software skills, knowledge of record keeping in spreadsheets, some background in event planning and understanding of how receipts and reimbursements are processed, savviness with social media, webpage maintenance, and email-based marketing. Familiarity with Higher Education and Biology research would be a plus. This full-time position will require at least 3 days on-campus work for certain logistical task at the Boston University School of Medicine in the South End district of Boston, with the remaining work time suitable for conducting from the home with suitable internet access. This is an entry level role to provide support by coordinating the logistics of office administration for the Genome Science Institute (GSI), Graduate Program in Genetics and Genomics (GPGG) and Program in Genetic Counseling (GC) programming events. In addition, this role will provide general requested purchasing, record keeping, assisting in event planning and communications to promote events will be required among other administrative tasks to facilitate the functionality and projects.
Required Skills Bachelors degree required and 1-3 years prior work experience preferred.
