The Research Aide will be primarily responsible for preparing and maintaining bacterial cultures for use in the classroom and processing soil samples for bacteriophage extraction. They will also need to maintain and prepare other lab materials (media, agar plates, various stock solutions, etc.) and assist with gel electrophoresis. They will work with other team members with various levels of experience (GTAs, undergrads, instructors).
