Research Associate in the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology - Dr. Dipesh Chaudhury
The Center for Genomics and Systems Biology (CGSB) at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to appoint a Research Associate starting October 2023 to investigate gene expression in circadian neural networks. The successful applicant will use a combination of molecular and electrophysiological approaches to investigate how gene expression contributes to the rhythms in excitability and plasticity of circadian clock neurons in rodents. The project will be based at NYU Abu Dhabi and will be co-supervised by Dipesh Chaudhury and Justin Blau. Applicants must have five years of research experience post Ph.D. Essential requirements are the ability to do single-cell and bulk RNA gene expression from rodent brain samples, single-cell data analysis, rodent behavioral
