Manages the clinical/translational research operations for the Integrated Biomedical Imaging Laboratory (IBIL). Oversees the implementation of all IBIL-related operational activities. Provides leadership on the daily operation of the IBIL in collaboration with the Principal Investigator. Manages IBIL projects, programs, and collaborations.
The Integrated Biomedical Imaging Laboratory focuses on developing novel hybrid noninvasive imaging systems for studying the pregnant uterusâ™s electrical maturation and mechanical changes. The goal of the lab is to develop tools to monitor pregnancy and labor progression and assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies to manage labor and prevent preterm birth. The lab uses innovative and cutting edge experimentation and relies heavily on bioinformatics and biomechanical systems engineering.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage research, core projects and training and/or dissemination of programs. Leads research projects and manages staff performing all project components in collaboration with and under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
Provides technical and managerial expertise associated with the implementation of studies and projects.
May participate in the development of research grants and contracts.
Provides oversight for accounting functions (purchasing, receiving, inventory) and financial oversight of project budgets and all expenditures. Provide support to the IBILâ™s grants in support of the lab work.
May supervise staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Five years of project coordination experience.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office highly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of experience or a master's degree and one year of experience.
$57,300.00 - $97,700.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
