The Bemis laboratory is part of the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth campus.  We seek a highly motivated individual trained in microbiology to join our team. We are studying the development of biofilm in several co-culture models of disease, including but not limited to, Lyme disease and Leishmania.  Our goal is to identify specific host/pathogen signatures for use in novel direct diagnostics.Questions: Contact Dr. Lynne Bemis (ltbemis@d.umn.edu)Duties/Responsibilities:80% Research: This position requires the candidate to have the ability to prepare and execute complex experiments in partnership with other team members. Planning and performance of daily and weekly experiments and communication with the team of researchers on several funded projects.
