Associate Research Scientist
The Institute for Genomic Medicine (IGM) at Columbia University Medical Center is a unique interdisciplinary research environment specializing in human genetics and genomics. The IGM employs next generation sequencing technologies and leads cutting-edge research programs developing cellular and animal models of human disease.The IGM is actively recruiting for a senior level research position. The candidate will participate in studies of neurological disease mechanisms including epilepsy using rodent and human induced pluripotent stem cell models. The candidate will be mentored by Dr. Christopher Makinson (Assistant Professor of Neurology).
