The Department of Biology at Saint Louis University seeks and adjunct instructor to teach one semester of BIOL4050 - Molecular Technique Lab. This is a two-credit lab course designed to provide students with experience in the theory and practice of molecular biology techniques. Topics to be covered include DNA isolation, cloning, PCR, DNA sequencing, and bioinformatics. The lab meets once a week for four hours.
Appointment date: The position will begin in August 2023 and extend through December 2023 (Fall semester).
Salary: according to adjunct faculty pay scale
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Biological Science (or MS with relevant technical experience) is required at the time employment begins.
