The Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences aims for excellence in research and education. The Department of Computer Science Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the department and the Master of Computer Science program events. As directed by the Department Chair and Department Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the calendaring, audio-visual, rentals, catering, advertising, and other associated event logistics. The Events Coordinator will serve as contact on the day of the event and troubleshoot issues. The incumbent will also provide post-analysis of the event as requested.

$29.10 - $30.44 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $29.10 - $46.71 (Hourly Rate)
Required:
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing. Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
