The lab studies the role of hypoxia in the development of metastasis. The laboratory utilizes 2D and 3D cell culture, a novel hypoxia fate-marking mouse model recently developed in the lab, high-resolution/high-content microscopy, biochemistry, molecular biology, and bioinformatics approaches to decipher the role of hypoxia in cancer spread to identify therapeutic strategies and potential prognostic markers. We are seeking a Research Specialist who will be an active member of a dynamic, team-oriented, and expanding research group. The candidate will also participate in the development of novel animal models to investigate metastatic spread.
