The Stanford Alpha Clinic, part of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) Alpha Clinic Network, is seeking an Access Facilitator (ASA2) to increase patient diversity in stem cell treatments and clinical trials.

The Alpha Clinic was established to expand delivery of stem cell, gene therapies and other advanced treatment to patients. The Alpha Clinics Network is designed to serve as a competency hub for regenerative medicine training, clinical research, and the delivery of approved treatments. The mission is to expand cell and gene therapies into historically underserved populations. The role of the Access Facilitator is to lead efforts to both understand the gaps in enrollment on clinical trials and find solutions for increasing participant diversity. This role will require someone who is creative, able to operate independently as well as in a large team comprised of both internal and external members, and who can develop and implement ideas.

Responsibilities include:

* Identifying enrollment gaps in patient diversity.

* Developing a strategy for enhanced patient access to treatments (eg. Planning translation of materials into multiple languages, partnering with community organizations to participate in events).

* Leading implementation of programs/projects for increased patient access to care.

* Advising internal team on best practices.

* Partnering with Alpha Clinic Network members to expand outreach programs to other sites.

* Partnering with health professionals and community outreach organizations.

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the University reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs. The pay range for this position working in the California Bay area is $125,000.00 to $135,000.00.
