Position Summary The technician will be involved in multiple projects in plant evolutionary genetics working with the species Capsella bursa-pastoris (Shepherd's Purse) and Chamaecrista fasiculata (Partridge Pea). Specific projects will depend on the technician’s skills and interests, but could include greenhouse and growth chamber experiments to measure plant phenotypes, plant collection trips in the US, DNA extractions or other wet-lab benchwork, and bioinformatics. The technician will also be expected to participate in lab meetings, collaborate with other lab members, and be involved in presenting and writing up the results from their work.
