Position overviewPosition title: Stem Cell Aging Biologist Salary range: The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The current base salary range for this position is $68,400 to $102,900. Position description
This position is in the Conboy lab, within the California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences at the University of California Berkeley. The Conboy lab studies aging, specifically the molecular signals that circulate in blood and affect tissue stem and progenitor cells throughout the various organs.
This position would be molecular biologist at the core, but spans from the organism and tissue samples through molecular analysis to -omics bioinformatical study and interpretation. Fortunately, the successful candidate will be part of a team with individual expertises.
Responsibilities:
To conduct biomedical and bioengineering research, supervise a small team of undergraduate researchers and technicians, and to aid in skill development of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
To develop collaborations within the Conboy lab and to support our collaborations with other groups at UC and beyond, including our clinical collaborations.
